It´s a nice start though i would change quite a lot f. e. the whole headder and navi section on top. Why is the headder so much wider than the site itself? That does not make any sense – not even a graphical one. My monitor is already 21” and i have to scroll to the right to see the site if i have a sidebar in my browser open.

Here is a screenshot with details i personally would change:

• increase space on top and bottom of calendar
• increse line-heigt in general
• change colors
• work out a nicer headder with a better integrated navigation

Thanks for the suggestions. While I’m not really in agreement with your recommendations, I certainly appreciate your opinion and advice!

The color recommendations and comments about the graphic header in particular. Both come down to personal choices of aesthetics and design, in my opinion. However, I do appreciate the comments, though.
