multiple occurrences of comment form

why do i all of sudden get three occurrences of the comment form? i didn’t have problem with this a month back, and i don’t recall changing anything? oh i did change the site preferences for Permanent link mode from /section/id/title to /section/title…. but I have tried reverting back and still get the same errors. i.e. three comment forms !!

Turn off comment auto-append in the admin prefs.

Thanks! … that worked.

PS do you know which is the better option for a multiple section/weblog
to use the Permanent link mode: /section/id/title
OR /section/title

I use /section/title, as I can easily make sure that no two articles have the exact same name. For my mom’s blog, I used /section/id/title, so she doesn’t have to worry about that sort of thing. It’s really up to what works best for you.
