breadcrumb tag is not empty on homepage

hi

i’m using the breadcrumb tag like this:

<code><txp:breadcrumb sep=” :: “ link=“y” /></code>

This works great, except for the frontpage or homepage.

There, this code produces a </ p> tag, which should not be there. I’m expecting this plugin to be empty on the Homepage.

Is this a known bug? Can anybody give advice?
