problem importing from moveable type

i’ve used Dean’s importer script that i found here. but it seems i ran into some problems.

first, comments counts are missing. then, i also got problems with the categories. none of them are imported. but then again, if i look directly to the database i can see it’s there, but it won’t show up on textpattern. so, is this script still usable? or is there other methods of importing contents from moveable type?

I’m not sure that script has been updated recently. Try the one available out of the box (Admin —-> Import).
