Textpattern seems to be a day behind.

Ok, this is my first post here. And my first Textpattern site. So hopefully I’m not overlooking something obvious, like a Date preference or something, but…

Every date in Textpattern is 1 day behind. When I go to the Content -> Write, the date shows 2006-03-15, but today is the 16th. The time is correct. I’m not sure where to look on this one. I thought maybe the server’s clock is wrong, but it is correct in the diagnostics. Here’s what the diagnostic says:

<code>

What are your timezone and daylight savings settings?

What is your Time Zone set to, in admin > prefs?

Can you tell us what your server’s time zone is? (You should be able to work it out from the server_time in diagnostics)

Re: Textpattern seems to be a day behind.

Thanks for the replies.

Both my server and I are in the Pacific Standard Time Zone (GMT -8) – which is how it is set in the preferences.

Re: Textpattern seems to be a day behind.

Well, Thanks for the help….

It seems to have cleared itself up. I really can’t explain it. I know I’m not crazy, because I had to go back and change the dates on all of my calendar entries.

Maybe my database server needed to be rebooted or something…

Re: Textpattern seems to be a day behind.

I seem to be having the same problem: Textpattern is a day behind.

My server is on Pacific time, and I’d like my textpattern installations to run on GMT. Which they do in away, that it, the time is correct, but Textpattern thinks it’s yesterday.

I have a couple of other installations running on the same server (a forum, photo album, etc), and they all display the time just fine.

Any ideas?

Edit: Never mind, it resolved itself… I hope.

Re: Textpattern seems to be a day behind.

If you’re using Textpattern 4.0.3, you may want to upgrade to 4.0.4 when it is released today or later this week, because it fixes at least one timezone bug.

Thanks, I’ll do that (for at least 3 of my 4 textpattern sites.. the forth is so heavily altered that it’s probably not worth the trouble, at least not this week ;))
