help Im lost!
I am developing a site for a client who needs to update a little news and other pages and also have a gallery they can update, text pattern seems to be the tool for me, I have been delving into it for the past hour and I am completely lost!
All I want to do for the moment is make links to a couple of pages and I cant even do that!!! I have been searching for a basic tutorial and have been trying stuff out in textpattern but to no avail.
Could somebody please show me how to get started with a few pages to linking together.

Have you read the FAQs?
Did you dive into the TextBook (TXP manual)?
You can also read this introduction to TXP
And you also have this article: Understanding Textpattern Building Blocks
There you have some very good TXP material to read.
I also was lost in my first hour, in the second one too. Some hours later, I heard a “click” in my mind.
I’m happy that I’m still learning TXP, two years after that click.
PS: “help Im lost!” isnt a good title thread. I dont know if you are lost in the Amazon jungle or in the Sahara desert.

I know terrible title I did feel like I was stumbling around in the dark, Amazon jungle would be nice though ….anyway I am currently going through faq trying to get my head round this so hopefully the penny will drop in the next couple of hours.
