Importing from WordPress -> eval()'d error

Hi,

I’m planning to switch from WordPress 2.0 to Textpattern.
I’ve installed a test-installation and all went fine so far.

But after importing my WordPress-Entries it occurs an error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘&’ in /my/server/path/tp/textpattern/publish.php(934) : eval()’d code on line 83

when I go to the main-page. Could it be a UTF-8 and/or database problem? The WP-Entries seems to look quite okay in the admin-panel, even the comments and the categories are imported quite well.

Have no clue at moment…

Thanks in advance.

John

Re: Importing from WordPress -> eval()'d error

You probably have some (invalid?) PHP code in one or more of your articles.

Re: Importing from WordPress -> eval()'d error

Hi zem,

no, rather not. My site with WordPress is served as valid appclication/xhtml+xml (XHTML 1.1) and I’m not using PHP-Code or other things like that in my postings.

Is there any chance to easily find out what ampersand-sign could cause the error? There are quite some postings in my database right now and it would be a pain to search anything by hand. ;-)

Re: Importing from WordPress -> eval()'d error

In advanced preferences turn off both options for php […in articles/…in pages].

Also deactivate any plugins that you may have installed.
