Save and display the date a file was uploaded on
I have a site which offers many files for download. Naturally (at least I think it’s natural), I want to know which files are popular and which ones are not. However, as I can’t see when I uploaded a file, the actual download numbers are of little help since early files will score much higher than later files.
It would be great to have the upload date displayed in list view so that I could roughly judge how many downloads per month/week etc. a file had.
As of now, I have to find the respective article and see when it was published, which is a bit of a hassle if you want to do file “stats”.
Any feedback on this idea?
