World Travel Site
Hi everyone,
I recently returned from 7 months backpacking around Eastern Europe, Russia, Asia, etc. Before I left I setup a textpattern site to post pictures and thoughts as I went. Having the site was fabulous for keeping in touch with folks back home. And in the process I have a nice trip summary with about 650 pictures and videos.
My only wish (from an administrator’s point of view) was for a “Prev” and “Next” page button on the top of the content/images tab. On some of those remote dialup connections, it was a hassle to wait for the thumbnails to load and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the list of 100 images just to click to go to “page 2”, etc. I’ll have to find the suggestion forum and post that thought. But otherwise, everything worked like a charm…even way off the beaten track!
Now that I’m back, I setup a second Textpattern install as a “startup log” (or plog) for my next (business startup) adventure. It’s sparse right now, but does the trick.
Any thoughts are welcome for sure!
Thanks,
Nate

Re: World Travel Site
I like the “plog” it’s clean and simple. The only thing that you may want to consider is fixing the header a little bit. It’s very jaggy and not entirely clear, I like that it’s probably your own writing (giving it personality), it just needs a little clean up is all. That’s just what I think though.

Thanks stdmedia,
I should get that scanned at higher res. somewhere. I only had 300dpi here.
Later,
