Laying out in table (HTML) but using textile inside the table?
Hi Im trying to layout some text and pictures using a table, basically two columns, the text on the right and the pictures on the left.
The HTML works fine but it gets generated with <BR>
’s after each HTML line, so <table>
becomes <table><BR />
.
I can put <notextile>
tags around the table but then I dont get the ability to do *, _, h1. etc. in the text…
Is there anyway around this.
I know I could use textile tables but I find them very difficult to use.
Many thanks, K

Start each new line of HTML with a blank space that will keep Textile out of the way.
By the way, to post code here in the forum wrap it in HTML code tags.

That was a quick reply :)
Thanks for the tip, I see I made a bit of a mess of my post with the disapearing HTML.
Goes to show it pays to preview.
