Create an image gallery in txp?
Hi All,
I recently tried to integrate gallery2 and txp with horrible results.
I’m now committed to implemeting an image gallery within txp.
I’ve seen various plugins and hacks, some of which appear unmaintained and incompatible with txp 4.03
Does anybody have any experience of doing this? Any tips on which plugs are best?

There are several plugins. You can even do it without plugin. The choice depends on how simple or complicated your gallery has to be. rss_thumbpop works fine in 4.0.3. You can also have a look at the plugins on Textpattern Resources.

If you don’t need javascript and popup, and don’t want to deal with creating articles (just organize photos in categories), you can try my bos_image_display plugin.
I needed for a client, and use also on my site. I’m currently developing it, so if you have some suggestion, it will be nice. I don’t know if it’s easy to use, but works for me (I’m not a programmer, and it looks…). It’s based on original image_display and image_index tag that doggiez linked in the faqs, but adds some possibilities.
Before of this, I used upm_img_popper plugin and created an article for every image, very good! It all depends on your need.
