Best way to do this?
I’ve posted elsewhere that I’m new to using a CMS. I have a potential sit and would like some suggestions for the best way to approach this using TXP?
Site for regional development corp to include pages detailing the area and its highlights.
Site to include local business directory which local businesses can upload contact and summary details plus a photograph to – to be moderated prior to publishing.
Pages for tourism, eating out etc.
Provide membership forms for download (PDF).
Possible use of Google Adsense and sponsored advertising banners.
I understand the general CMS concept and also that user priveleges are easily set and maintained, The main problem I have I suppose is how to organise the input and presentation of the business directory info etc?
Is TXP suitable for this type of site or do I need a custom db with appropriate forms etc?
Any advice hugely appreciated.
