category and search question

Is there a way to show something ONLY on the category and search page and no others incuding the front page?

The way I’m doing it now is making the same script twice with the “if” function for category and search. I would like to condense this.

Depends on what the “something” is. There’s no way to combine the two “if” tags into one. But you can put the “something” in a form and use output_form inside each “if”, rather than duplicating it.
