Re: SoMinty.com
I like the overall design and layout. Not that common, which is always good. The html code is perfectible, but not that bad either. Good job :)

SoMinty.
Well done. I echo Jeremie’s sentiment, that the design is not common. I like it.
One thing: the comment | continue reading —> links: You may consider making a comment div on your individual article page an giving it an ID so that when you click “comment”, you are taken to the form immediately, rather than taken to the top of the indi_article page. Unless you want people to read more before they comment, in which case I’d remove the comment link from the front page altogether? Just thoughts.
On another note. Do you care to share how you structured your author section / articles? You’ve done an excellent job on that.
Thx.
Matthew

Re: SoMinty.com
Jeremie and ma_smith: Thanks so much for your comments.
ma_smith: You are right, I somehow managed to overlook the part where you jump to the comment section. Its fixed
And what part did you mean when you said the “author section / articles” ?

Re: SoMinty.com
VERY nice. Have you considered adding a “Prev | Next” feature While in article view.

Re: SoMinty.com
Thanks everybody. I’ve added a few more features (like the ‘+’ sign on the home page on each section, which will give you recent posts) and also some modifications on the posts page itself. If you have any more comments, please let me know.

Re: SoMinty.com
I like the design in general and I like how the different subjects are set up, BUT (referring to the frontpage):
- I think overall it’s a bit cold. Too many black text on a very very very white background. I think that your themes – the “three most important things in life – music, food and movies” – demand a warmer, more ‘comfortable’ design that might make people feel at ease.
- There’s too much text on the frontpage I think. I wonder if anyone is ever reading everything. Maybe you could consider limiting it to a few lines and then present a link to the rest of the article. Or a bit of text and a small image.
But hey, that’s only my opinion.
BTW: I want to thank you for the background image I found on your site, grey.gif. It’s the perfect background for my site. Thanks, I hope you don’t mind :)
