Comment error troubles
Hey all!
I’ve spent hours designing and coding my individual archive (permalink) page (my first with txp), and I finally have it exactly how I like it. At least, when human input to the comment form is perfect, that is. Run-of-the-mill comment submission is fine, but when there’s an error…it’s a different story. Random chunks of random pieces of code are all over the place.
Perhaps it would be better to show you. Here’s an example post. Note how everything is nice and neat and orderly. Try submitting a comment. Works great! Nifty live preview, it’s all wonderful. But now try and submit a blank comment…it all goes to hell. An extra comment form, extra random modules and chunks of code. None of it has any textpattern tags corresponding with the extra comment.
Am I just missing a comment error handling conditional tag? Is there some behavior that I’m not understanding? I’ve been pulling my hair out about this for hours now…any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Edit: In case it would be any use to anybody, here is my diagnostic information.

Re: Comment error troubles
It’s because of how the comment preview stuff works. Let us know if you need more help.
Edit: oh, and you’ll want to have the comments_error tag in there somewhere too.
