Change the /file_download uri
Is it possible to change the URL <code>…/file_download/1</code> for the file downloads in to something other like <code>…/someting/1</code>?

Not at the moment without a hack. (Yes, the built-in urls should be customizable.) To hack it, open up publish.php and go to line 120. It should be obvious what you can do. :)
