Recommend plugins for image

What plugins would you recommend for dealing with images?

The user (the client) is not very experienced and I want to make the process easy. The best situation would be when the user uploads several images for a single article, and then a thumbnail is automatically created and the photos in the body are automatically floated – one to the right, one to the left….

Is it possible something like that?

Thanks

Re: Recommend plugins for image

As long as I understand I have to use “glx_admin_image”. It creates a thumbnail and then the user has to add the name of the image in the “write” tab.

Does Mery’s pop-up plugin create a thumbnail too?

Re: Recommend plugins for image

I guess you are sleeping or don’t want to answer my questions :(
Forget about the previous two posts, I found the answers.

But please help with “wet_article_thumb”.

In order to display the thumbnail, first I have to assign an image id to the article in the “Article image” field under the “Write” tab. But why I can’t just type the name of the image there?
For example I uploaded an image “tennis.jpg” and a thumbnail was automatically created by“glx_admin_image”. I noticed tha name of the file was changed to “21.jpg” and the the thumb was called “21t.jpg”. It would be very difficult for the user the assign an id in the “Article image” field since the id can not be found anywhere (am I right?). Well I can see the ID in the address bar (the end of the url) when i open the image from the “images” tab, or if you right click the image you can see its new name – 21.jpg. But it is too much for the user.

I mean – how does the user know the id of an image?

I hope I’m doing something wrong and there is an easier way

PLEASE EXCUSE ALL POSTS IN THIS TOPIC :-) I found bas_img_selector…
