business cards preferences?

Hey design geeks, I’m actually thinking its time to get a business card going, does anyone recommend any place hands down? I’ve been around del.icio.us and picked up on 4by6 and vistaprint, both of which seem fine, even good, but for different reasons.

Any one feel like weighing in on the subject?

Re: business cards preferences?

I’ve used http://www.overnightprints.com and was satisfied (I uploaded a pdf and got back a nice, stiff card, though the color wasn’t what I was expecting, but I chalk that up to my lack of monitor color synchronization). In looking for business card and postcard printers, I’ve learned there are plenty of vendors, most in the same price range. Just watch the paper weight and type, as well as the type of digital printer the vendor is using. And, of course, if you want the best quality that you can control, find a local printer.

Edit: Thanks for the 4by6 link. I might use them.

Not a specialist in business cards by any means, but if you don’t have a design already in mind, I know that Letterpressed will do custom work. Pricier, but gorgeous.

NyteOwl,
True :) I just want to get a good hold of prices. I think Philadelphia probably has a decent selection.
