Any danger in adding a table to the TXP database?
I want to create a table to store user login and access information. Is there any danger in adding this table to the SQL database that Texpattern is currently using? Would there be any complications with updates to Textpattern or SQL?

Nope. TXP only deals with its own tables. It there is no duplicate name, it doesn’t care what other tables are or aren’t in the same databse.
