Disabling finite life span for comments
According to the TextBook, TextPattern will automatically close comments on posts of a certain age, but this can be disabled via the Preferences Subtab of the admin section. I wanted to disable this (so that users can comment on any post) but when I go into the Preferences Subtab (even when I select Advanced Preferences) the only options I get are whether to require a username and whether to require an email. Has this changed since the TextBook page was written, or am I doing something wrong? Either way, how do I disable the finite life span?

Re: Disabling finite life span for comments
It’s in the lower half of preferences:
Comments
…
Comments mode …..
Disabled after ……………@
Automatically append comments to articles?

Re: Disabling finite life span for comments
Er… oops. Turns out that it was because I had disabled comments while I checked for antispam measures. Shutting up :P
