cite attribute in blockquote's
that would be so, semantic if we were able to apply cite and value to our blockquote’s
for example, the correct way to cite another’s work in xHTML would be:
<code><p>As <cite>Author name</cite> says:</p>
<blockquote cite=“http://author.com/2005/1/07”>
<p>paragraph of authors quoted content</p>
</blockquote>
</code>
Where the cite attribute’s value is of the author’s permalink to his quoted words.
Just a thought. I’ve heard of tags allowing attributes to be defined for there element, thought it may be possible for textile.
