upm plugins - archive of plugins as they exist now
UPDATE: upm plugins archive – upm-plugins.com
there are far more qualified peops than me – but I’m offering to create a small webspace to host upm plugins as they currently stand… obviously they’ll move on and be developed, by people like hakjoon, but it might be good to have a space for them as they exist now… and be able to provide links to modified code in time
I know I’ll be needing em over the next few months and no doubt many of the forum will too
could someone compile them?
I was thinking of purchasing a domain name (upm-plugins.com) but of course they could go on an existing site or perhaps the resources site? but I thought the site could also post a little tribute to Mary’s excellent work (don’t worry, no hagiography)… along with the documentation etc
in summary – just a bit of librarian work really… archive and document

Re: upm plugins - archive of plugins as they exist now
I think this is a great idea. I would love to see something from one of the main sites like the resources site simply because Mary contributed so much. I realize that might not be possible but I think she deserves it.
I compiled all the plugins and zipped them up I added Mary’s name back to the plugins but removed her URL so she would not be bothered with support requests. I figured she deserved the credit. upm_quicktags is in it’s own folder that should probably be zipped up individually for distribution.

Do you mean the random <b>
tags all over the place? I just noticed those. Curiously enough that is in fact how it’s supposed to look. The html for those sections is < code><b>text</b></code >
Probably search and replace gone awry or something.
I’ll go through and try to fix those and recompile them again.

Mary had template problems during her final development days. Visible HTML stems from that.

That´s a sweet idea. I am still disturbed by Mary´s decision and i can not get rid of the feeling something went trerribly wrong ..sigh.. a tribute to Mary´s work would really be nice but we should always show her, that she is very welcomed to come back, not only due to her excellent work but for herself.

A few of the files were looking for upm_tpl to compile which of course did not work for me so I switched them over to use zem_tpl hopefully that won’t cause any more serious side effects.
Although the visible html is technically correct if you look at the html
