how do i make the comment preview appear after the article

how do i make the comment preview appear after the article without using “automatically append comments to the end of each article” from preferences?

The reason i can’t use that option from preferences is I use multi-page articles at times and on those I want the comments to only show up on the last page. So I have automatically add comments to no. I’m doing it manually. And when you hit preview the previewed comment appears above the article…. It’s probably something easy I’m missing.
