I am not positve, but maybe youd have to treat the subsections as article lists -? I know I have seen this before, so try going through the forum.

Categories are not subsections, they run “orthogonal” to sections. What reptilerobots is referring to is probably this article:

static site with dynamic two-level nav
(there are a few similar ones, as well)

The hard part is not making the pages and categories work, but to “get what I think” in terms of navigation, which is not easy to get automatically, due to the wide variety of ways people use Txp. THere are a few plugins floating around.

There is also the possibility of outputting sub-trees of categories using @<txp:category_list parent=“my_about_categories”, which also could be used as a navigantional element within a section.
