creating an about page
a simple question for you eperts… just trying to get my head around text pattern – it looks like a great tool and i would love to use it on my site so that i dont have to manually update the html files each time.
but anyway my question…
i’ve been playing with it for a couple of days and i want to create an “about” page that has just 1 article on it (a static page i guess) … i have created a section called “about” and have written an article and set its section to “about” but i cant get it to display… basically when i click the browse drop down menu it goes to a blank page instead of the about article… help?!
I realise the drop down menu is being populated by the article categories part but how to i point my article to this section so that it only appears on this section?
any help appreciated… even if you can just point me to some tutorials on creating a static page…. thanks!

FAQ. This is also mentioned in the “Common HDI questions” link at the top of this forum.
