[request] AJAX Spell Checker

Can <a href=“http://www.broken-notebook.com/spell_checker/”>this spell-checker</a> be made into a plugin for txp?

(Edit: updated thread subject to something a little more clear. -Mary)

Have you looked into the Google Toolbar, it does spell checking in text areas.

Re: [request] AJAX Spell Checker

So does SpellBound for FF but I’m disappointed because I thought this was a request for a plug-in for “if_possible” which I think would be absolute Magic. ;)

Re: [request] AJAX Spell Checker

I was just pointing out an option till a plugin is made.

On the subject of a plugin, check out DokuWiki’s implementation. This is the wiki software that I use and the spell checker works great.

Alright rub it in, OS X is better :)

I bounce between WinXP and Debian, commodity hardware has it’s advantages.

I have the google toolbar but i find it very slow.
re osx (i have osx.3.9).
I cannot see where i can spell check in firefox.

There were a number of requests for spell checking since the rc1 days of txp. Thought that the above could do the trick.
