Re: dreaded .htaccess
As far as I can tell you seem to be using “messy” URLs so you shouldn’t need the .htaccess file unless you want to change that, and it will be down to your host as to whether you can use it anyway. Most do allow it though.
As for those “/br” characters, that looks to me like a <code><br /></code> tag which isn’t getting parsed correctly. This is probably due to alterations to the tag being used to produce the list. You need to check that tag out in the menu on the left of the page and form editing screens and see how it should be formatted now.

kozaitis, Textpattern shipped with an .htaccess file, which is where the line is that needs to be uncommented. It won’t cause errors with your site. register_globals is often left on by hosts for people using older and less well-written scripts. It’s best to turn it off if you can, but if not, your site will still continue to work. :)
