i just d/led and installed textpattern...where do i start??

i’m new to this and i’m having a hard time knowing where to start. i’m very fluent in web design and know a smidgen of php, but i’ve never tried setting up a CMS before. is there a manual that tells me how to go about building/setting up pages?? i’m just looking for some solid direction. thanks for any help…and sorry if this is not where i should be posting this.

hi bumblebeezus, welcome to textpattern. If you scroll this page up and take a look at the navogation, you’ll see Links to FAQ and Manual. Both of those places are good places to get started. In the FAQ for example you would have found this:
