Setup 3 separate TXP blogs on same server but still keep Google sweet?
Please bear with me on this as I try to explain what I mean as this might be outside the remit
of TXP – so here goes…
I’ve read that Google frowns upon ‘cloaked’ forwarded domain names and that the correct way to ensure that
you can host different sites on the same server and still ensure search engine visibility is to use 301 redirects.
With this in mind, I want to setup 3 different blogs using TXP and each one is a completely different theme.
Obviously, I don’t want to have 3 different hosts for each domain name.
I also want these blogs’ URLs not to be cloaked and be search engine friendly ‘clean’ URLs.
Can anyone please direct me to some comprehensive information on how to achieve this?
Thanks!

I don’t understand this. Do you already have 3 seperate domains? If yes, then you simply use Apache’s virtualhost functionality, and map each domain to a different directory on your filesystem.
This is used practically everywhere. Cloaking doesn’t come into this discussion anywhere. Clean urls are also unrelated. Textpattern doesn’t even really come into this, since you’d have to do the same things no matter what you put up for the website.
You simply set up the domains (ask your host about how to do this), and then proceed to install textpattern each time on each domain. Done.
