I’m experimenting with a conversion of my WordPress blog to TextPattern. When I started this blog, it was on TXP2 and I want to try my hand at a reverse migration now. In order to preserve my identical look (www.technosailor.com), I need to implement a few pieces of WP logic but after looking at the TXP tags, I’m remembering why I converted. ;)
This is the WordPress block of code…fairly straightforward PHP with some WP tags. You should be able to figure it out and help me work the TXP logic out.
(hmmm, bbcode is off)
(screw it, I can’t code to display)
Here’s a link to my WP source:

If I’m not mistaken, you can use LeeStewart’s logging plugin to do that. In fact, I think he uses this same type of situation as an example of how to use his 404 page.

Hmmmm… maybe I’m missing it, but I don’t see how this lpugin can do that. I’ve [quickly] glanced through all the functions but I don’t see anything relevant…

Yeah, actually I think all that would get you is the search term for the last part of your source. You may want to check Ron Sable’s archiving plugins then if you can’t find an all-in-one solution, you could at least see the source and develop your own or adapt what you already have.
