No email in comment display
I’m struggling with comments these days, and while I ‘m still searching how everything is really organized, I have two questions:
The comment invite tag doesn’t seem to work, i put it in the comment form, the comment_form form but nothing shows up.
And i need to be able to remove email address link on names when i display it and i don’t see this option anywhere. (the anti spam stuff is great, but i’m not sure people are happy to have their email shows up, i tried not to ask for email by removing the form input but then it doesn’t agree)

Go to the admin tab, Advanced Preferences. Under ‘Publish’ change ‘Never display email’ to ‘yes’. To remove the requirement of submitting an email address with a comment, look under ‘Comments’ on the same page, and change ‘Comments require user email’ to ‘no’.
You cooin’ with my bird?

Re: No email in comment display
Thanks, now I feel a little bit stupid (I have to say that I work on a swedish site which is now live and therefore need to be in swedish in textpattern, and I do not speak swedish, but this is a bad excuse…)

It is intended behaviour that it doesn’t work for individual article pages. I explain it here:

4.0.2 (available probably in a few weeks) will have an option to let you show the invite on individual pages as well. In the meantime, you can use a hard-coded text/invitation in your comment-form.
