So is it 4.01 or 4.02?

I updated to svn1002 (and today to svn1009). One of the files in the textpattern/update folder is called “_to_4.0.2.php”.
My diagnostics as well as the text below the logo in the back end shows “Textpattern version: 4.0.1”. Not that versions matter but as far as the svn revisions go are we on 4.01 or 4.02?

Slow day today…:)

I am pretty sure they switched to 4.02 in the SVN repository a little while back. I don’t think it’s an official release yet though.

Re: So is it 4.01 or 4.02?

SVn checkouts are best identified by revision number and branch.

Those other numbers (4.0.x) only have meaning for releases. Obviously we have to bump the number in the code while in development, that still doesn’t make it “equal” to the forthcoming release. ;)

Re: So is it 4.01 or 4.02?

/development/4.0/ is “the road to $last_release + 0.0.1”.
