Re: txp:popup type=

Super – it works fine now, I am happy :-)

Thank you very very much for your help!

The layout will receive some polish, and, above all, I can finally take care of the content.

If you want to have a look:

Thanks again,
Paqui

P.S. One technical problem remains: the “contact”-button does not work properly …
One thing is very strange about this contact button: I have a similar solution for a page under construction for an NGO:
http://www.3virgule14.net/current/
On this page, the “contact”-button works; the one on my school-page does not work, in spite of use of the same code and (apparently) identical conditions. Strange, isn’t it?

Re: txp:popup type=

When you say it doesn’t work, what does it do?

Re: txp:popup type=

It shows the front page instead of the contact form as asked :(

I checked again:
- on the site under construction for the NGO, things happen as they should:
http://www.3virgule14.net/current/index.php?s=about
shows the articles belonging to the section “about”, mainly the contact form
- on my school site:
http://www.3virgule14.net/fp/index.php?s=about
just shows the front page (= articles which, by the way, are not in that section).

In the meantime, I noticed that the search produces the same erroneous behaviour:
http://www.3virgule14.net/current/?q=cacao
returns the pages containing the word “cacao”, whereas
http://www.3virgule14.net/fp/?q=octobre
leads to the front page …
(and the word “octobre” does appear in some articles).

Very strange – I have the impression that both pages are made the same way (except for the new plugin – which is not necessary for the NGO-page – but that can not be the reason, or could it?)

Best regards,
Paqui

Re: txp:popup type=

Well again a search will use the front-page but there is a <code><txp:if_search></txp:if_search></code> tag so you could split it off again like you have for the category list and style it the way you want. Zem did an article about “search”. Let me go find it. There you go.

You do have an “About” section I presume? Does it use it’s own template. Just check in the “Diagnostics” tab in “Admin” in case you have some old placeholder files in your root. Is your About article attached to the section? Is the site on-line? This would be easier if I could go in and have a look. :)

Re: txp:popup type=

There you go. Check the extra bit of code I’ve added to tell TXP what to do if you are in the “about” section. :)

You may find later, depending on how big and complex the site becomes, that it would be better to give your “about” section it’s own page template but for now I see no problem with it.
