Plugin Request: if_xml

For reasons that would take too long to explain, I have a very unusual article forum that I use for http://projectseoul.com. The site is a photoblog, so I make extensive use of the ipm_image_popper plugin and it’s ‘custom’ forms feature. The ipm_image_popper form contains conditional calls that modify how the article appears depending on whether it’s in list view or article view. So, the code that ends up in the body of every article contains instructions for txp:if_individual_article and txp:if_article_list.

The problem, is that when this code goes out as an RSS feed, the subscriber receives double postings in the feed – the photo and caption appear twice.

So, my request is that an additional conditional be created: txp:if_xml (or txp:if_rss, or txp:if_feed, whatever).

Used so that the feed will send out only the information in that condition and ignore the rest. Anyone up to the challenge, or have any thoughts on the matter?

Thanks,
theturninggate
