Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_ifBrowser
- I’ve added the cookie feature, where the user will only see the message once, the first time they view the site. The attribute for this is <code>cookie=“1”</code>
- I’ve added support for ie4, opera 8.5, and unrecognized browser
- I’ve added an option to output simply the UA (user agent). This is acheived by the attribute <code>viewua=“1”</code>. Please note though that this will only output the user agent. Also, for this purpuse, I’ve added a sub plugin. What that means for you is that if you only wish to output the UA, you can use the following code: <code><txp:ako_ifBrowserUA /></code>. Again, this does the same thing as adding the <code>viewua=“1”</code> attribute to the ako_ifBrowser plugin.
In coming versions, I would like to work on getting up something like <code><txp:ako_elseifBrowser /></code> and being able to support verions below / above the give one. But that’s in the future. Lets focus on the present for now.
Download ako_ifBrowser v0.2

This is great news! Thanx for adding those features. Will have a go at it and tell you what happened.

Wow, that’s slightly embarassing. Um, I’ve fixed the link (and a slight formatting issue with the documentation as well), so here ya go…

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_ifBrowser
Is there any chance this plugin can be updated to include the latest desktop and mobile browsers? Is it something I can do?
Many thanks
