Privileges editor like PunBB has
Ok, PunBB’s version is a lot more simple then this would be. But I think instead of having a drop down list, you could pick and choose from tick boxes; effectivley creating your own account types.
On the sections page it would be good to have the ablity to lock a section so only the admin write to it. Or you can select which account types can write to it. Like this…

It’s in the works. You’ll notice there’s now a txp_priv table created, and once the GUI to manage privs is ready (it’ll appear as a subsection of prefs) we’ll finally shake loose the shackles of /lib/admin_config.php. At long last.
With six levels of privileges, and, just for starters, 31 events to govern, it’s going to be rather more visually complex than Rickard’s punBB solution.

No there isn’t yet. And there most likely won’t be in 4.0.2.
Maybe 4.0.3.
