Zem_Link behaving oddly... to me, at least
Hi everyone,
I’ve created a form that I use for a module on the front page to link to some content on subpages. Unfortunately, what’s happening is the zem_link tag isn’t properly linking.
Note the form below (it includes zem_link and a regular permlink for testing.
<h3><txp:title /></h3>
<txp:excerpt />
<p class=“link”><txp:zem_link title=“Permanent link to ‘%s’” class=“modlink”>read more…</txp:zem_link><txp:permlink>* text or tag here *</txp:permlink></p>
When displayed, the zem_link displays the link to the article as:
http://www.example.com/article-title
Meanwhile, the permlink displays it as:
http://www.example.com/section/article-title
Anybody have any insight as to why zem_link may not be displaying the section in the URL?
Best Regards,
Michael Hamm

Is there a chance that you do not use the latest version of zem_link which experienced several fixes beyond the version which can be fetched from tresholdstate.com?

Thanks for this thread though – as I wouldn’t have found the updated plugin otherwise!

Re: Zem_Link behaving oddly... to me, at least
Hi,
I’m using this (copy/pasted from my textpattern installation):
zem_link zem 0.3 Create article plinks and absolute href links
This matches with what’s on http://www.thresholdstate.com/software/3702/zem_link.
I reinstalled but to no effect.

Michael,
Read this, and you will be enlightened. The version which can be downloaded from tresholdstate.com is not adopted to various changes in textpattern, clean URLs being among those. The patched and functional version will identify itself as 0.3.1 0.3.2.
