The final, official 4.0.7 release is scheduled for next week, unless unexpected problems or errors arise.
We’re looking for people who like to help us make sure that we didn’t miss any regressions or introduce new bugs. We would like to get feedback on clean installations and updates from older versions.
Make sure that if you use this release candidate, you also update to the final 4.0.7 version when it is released.

The only thing I’ve noticed is that the new parser is stricter. For example in TXP 4.0.6 I had the following typo:
</txp:else />
Which didn’t break anything, so it went unnoticed, but TXP 4.0.7’s new parser will have issues with this. It took me a while to figure out what caused the breakage, so as a heads up if your site isn’t displaying everything, do a once over on your tags.

I installed it on the site where I do my test installs… so far, so good :)

I’ve installed it without errors and haven’t noticed any problems using it, no problems with any of my plugins either.

Could you provide a list of your plugins? Thanks!
