Re: [archived] sab_striphtml

For automatic excerpts, mostly. I couldn’t find a plugin that created automatic excerpts reliably since there ended up being a lot of lists in my posts.

Stripping the HTML for the excerpt works :)

Re: [archived] sab_striphtml

Nice plug-in! It works like a charm. Many thanks.

I used it to <a href=“http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=12285”>using HTML tag in article title and stripping it in <code><title></code></a> tag.

Re: [archived] sab_striphtml

Does anyone have a copy of this plugin ?
I need it to work with sab_substr and also to set txp:excerpt as a “alt” attribut in an article list (but I need to keep the textile mode “on” for the excerpts also…)

There’s a copy of sab_substr here : http://vanmelick.com/txp/
But I cant find sab_striphtml

Also : I have sab_striphtml running on a old site but I don’t know (yet) how to turn it back to a plugin…

Thanks !

Re: [archived] sab_striphtml

Doesn’t etz_striptags do the same?

You can do that with ied_plugin_composer.

Yes, it does ! It’s even better. Why didn’d I find it sooner ? I’ve wrote a comment in sab_striphtml page /378/sab_striphtml (in textpattern.org) to redirect to etz_striptags.

Thank you.

Yes I’ll have to try the thing one day.
