upload file problem
Hello, I am new to textpattern and am trying to reslove a few issues that I seem to have one is the porblem below loading images how do I fix this problem.
Warning: move_uploaded_file(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp/txp_pJu9xw) is not within the allowed path(s): (.:/var/www/includes/common/:/var/www/includes/php_upload_tmp:/var/www/dri.fr/html:/server/uebimiaudatabase:/server/apache2/php/common:/var/www) in /var/www/mwplant.com/www/mwpblog/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php on line 1001
The other is in the css editor how do I change the color of the fonts to a color I choose. I am using a theme called roses which I am in the process of modifying with my own images.
I would really appreicate any help

You need to set your Textpattern temp dir to a location that’s writable. The setting is in admin > prefs > advanced. Your hosting company should be able to tell you what paths to use.
For the CSS, that depends on the html code. Google css tutorial.

Thanks Zem for the post still a little confused though css I am on to. but the image posting is getting to me.
I am not sure what you mean textpattern temp dir is this a folder or file I can access though my ftp program or is it set in the admin > prefs > advanced ( the Temporary directory path window) do I have to enter something here and also the image path is that okay just left as images.
I can find the “txplib_misc.php “ but is the warning telling me to do something to this file, if so what excatly is it telling me to do.
And what do you mean my hosting company should be able to tell me what paths to use.
