Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_category_image: Display image for category.

I just installed v.0.3 and now when I click on one of the category images it only links to /category/ but no category name. If I set link_section=“yes” it links to // . ?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_category_image: Display image for category.

Works great Mary thanks ;)

Any thoughts on being able to add a class directly to the image? Because I would like to be able to turn the wraptag off.

Jeff the Vegan.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_category_image: Display image for category.

If it were a question of the image needing to be placed within another element, like a paragraph, you could set the wraptag as “span”.

That is what I am doing now, but I am all for streamlined code and don’t need an extraneous tag.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_category_image: Display image for category.

Wish granted. You’re now a real boy. ;p

If you don’t specify a form, id and/or class will be added directly to the image element itself.

v.0.3.1

I have version 0.3.1 working at cepa.ncpa.org. The images on the homepage next to the post excerpts are run by upm_category_image

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_category_image: Display image for category.

Mary,

Just downloaded!
just curious on this one: I don’t know enough to know the difference. How would this change the display and/or maybe the validity of the page for w3c?

xhtml=“value”
Required: No.
Whether to use xhtml or html when displaying the image.
Available values: yes (use xhtml) or no (use html). Default is yes.

Cheers,

Matthew

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] upm_category_image: Display image for category.

Change of display: none. Validity: use the one for whichever standard you’re using. Textpattern ships with XHTML Transitional, so I made xhtml the default. I could have given no choice, but I don’t use xhtml so…
