Re: upm_img_popper

Mary, I would really like to be able to add images with this plugin using mic_tinymce. The only way I could see that it may be possible is if there was an option in your plugin that would allow using XHTML only tag to insert the image instead of your custom tag. What do you think?

Re: upm_img_popper

Hi Mary,
just a quick one. The plugin is not visible in the ‘use breakline’ mode on 4.02. I guess the fix is as pe the post <a href=“http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?pid=81387#p81387”>here</a>. Just thought that now that 4.02 is officially released the fix would generate a new version (0.9.6)

Re: upm_img_popper

Mary,

I just installed the newest version (0.9.5) linked from the first post and I still got the “Division By Zero” Error. Using your fix worked but I thought you should be aware that the issue either still exists or the linked plugin file has not been updated.

Also, thank you very much this plugin is super helpful.

Re: upm_img_popper

One more issue that I’ve noticed, but I get the feeling that this is more a bug with textile.
Is it correct in not wrapping my article text in p tags when I start out with a call of your plugin? This is what I’m putting into the article, and here is the html it spits out. As well, when it’s actually rendered on the page, it comes with no wrapping p tags.

My Photoblog, and my personal site. Got nav? ako_nav.
Thanks for taking the time to look…

Re: upm_img_popper

My guess would be Textile. I don’t know for certain, but I do know its behaviour has been changed somewhat. It might be caused by a fix to prevent wrapping real tags in paragraphs.

Try doing:

<notextile>p. &lt;txp:upm_img /&gt; The rest of the text…</notextile>

Re: upm_img_popper

v.0.9.6

This is supposed to resolve all the bugs I know about, but, if one still exists for you, please let me know.

…I still got the “Division By Zero” Error.

This was for a fresh install of the plugin? I can’t replicate this.

Re: upm_img_popper

Hi mary.
Fist my specs: txp4.02 (sv1091). I use “convert linebreaks” and v0.9.6 img_popper

The “insert image” link appears when in the ‘empty’ write tab but not when I am editing an existing (or just saved) article.

Re: upm_img_popper

I have the following problem.

My default article template looks like this:

<h1><txp:title /></h1>
<txp:body />
<p class="r">blablabla</p>

Normally, this returns
<h1>I am the title</h1>
<p>This is the article...<p>
<p>Maybe this is a second paragraph...</p>
<p class="r">blablabla</p>

If I insert an image with upm_img_popper _at the beginning of an article, it returns
<h1>I am the title</h1>
<img src="http://www.irox.de/images/151.jpg" class="re" alt="Roxomatic!" height="39" width="430">This is the article...
<p>Maybe this is a second paragraph...</p>
<p class="r">blablabla</p>

If I insert the same image inside the article, there isn’t any problem with missing p-tags… Normally, I would make a workaround with wrap-tags, but the problem is that the CSS-tag re has the value { margin:5px;float:right; }.

If you have a look at the article, you will see that the missing p-tag makes the design uglier – the paragraph is more to the left than the others. The page remains XTML-transitional-valid, however.

Any ideas or hints?

Postscriptum: TXP 4.0.1 and upm_img_popper 0.9.4

Re: upm_img_popper

Hi mary,

I’m a little late on the draw, but thanks for the option not to auto-load the script.

I love this plugin!

Re: upm_img_popper

Colak, I discovered this is a bug caused by Textpattern itself (an unclosed <p><small> if you disabled Textile). I’ve reported it and sent in a patch via the dev mailing list. I know that doesn’t really help you now, but I don’t think I can fix or workaround this. I’ll keep trying.

I don’t know if this is a general bug, but it somehow looks rather strange on my PC (winXP, FF 1.07).
