Re: mem_self_register
Blind guess:
<code>
foreach ($vals as $a=>$b) {
$Form = str_replace(‘<txp:register_’.$a.’ />’,$b,$Form);
}
</code>
In the plugin code replace “register” with “mem” ?
At least the fields came visible.

Re: mem_self_register
Sorry for the delayed response. I’m looking in to these errors. My initial guess is that something has changed in the recent volley of svn versions.
Posted 0.2.1, which fixes the tag problem. I wrote the documentation before coding, and didn’t follow it. The documentation is correct. I am unable to reproduce the pageTop() problems. Can anyone who is experiencing this problem please let me know what svn version they are using?

Re: mem_self_register
Tested 0.2.2 – still doesn´t work but my revision isn´t the latest… That reminds me, Is there a a way to see what revision I´m on? The back-end just tell me that I´m using RC3… or? Of course I don´t remember when I updated my txp-files…
Any way, I´ll download the latest revision tonight and see if that makes any difference…

Re: mem_self_register
skoggy, to my knowledge, it doesn’t store the rev number, but it does keep a record of the last time the database is updated with _update.php. In the table txp_prefs, look for “dbupdatetime” and plug the number in to here.

It must be me…(scratching head)

Re: mem_self_register
jw, the link is back up. Some how, the drop cash total reached 110%, which zem_dropcash couldn’t handle. I’m not sure if this is a bug, since I don’t think a dropcash campaign is supposed be able to go over the max. Regardless, I’m not complaining. ;)

Re: mem_self_register
How about putting the plugin to Textpattern resources or/and central plugin list?

Re: mem_self_register
Big thanks to Manfre for making this plugin! It looks great. Thanks to all folks that donated to it too. :)
I’m having a bit of trouble getting a sensible feedback when submitting the form.
If the registration went fine, I don’t know how to display a “Registration went fine”, and if it failed (it will, ‘cause some users do the weirdest things) where and how do I print “Registration failed”?
I have tried the < txp:if_self_registered > , which btw does not get fired after the initial submit.
And sometimes when adding an invalid email. The user is added to Textpattern. The cookie “txp_self_registered” is written to the browser. But no email was sent, of course because of the invalid email. And after reloading the form (because < txp:if_self_registered > does not fire after the first submit), “error_adding_new_author” is printed from the tag < txp:self_register_status_message >
Any hints folks?

Re: mem_self_register
sivni,
I’ll make it easier to determine what happened after the form is submitted. the if_self_registered tag should work after the initial submit. I’ll double check this and make sure that I have the latest version available for download. The invalid email will be a difficult one to solve, since many times the mail system will only reject email addresses that are incorrectly formatted, but will not give notification for bounced emails.
