Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] vdh_flickr

@valdok:
I don’t quite understand what you mean. There is a parameter link=“url” which is used to link a single image somewhere. And you would like to have the parameter changed, so that for example link=“original_size” would link to the original sized jpg? Or that link=“flickr” would link to the image on flickr.com?

@sivni:
Error handling is a great idea, I always wanted to implement this. Will be in the next version.

@blumie607:
hu is a constant usually containing the path to your textpattern installation with trailing slash, for example ‘http://www.me.com/’.
I’d like to resolve your problem, but I don’t know what might be the reason for it. If you followed the quickstart, the gallery should work like this:
preview -> thumbnails -> picture
Please tell me in which of these steps this problem occurs, and which url adressing scheme you use.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] vdh_flickr

The hu-problem also seems to occur on sivni’s homepage. I’ve just updated to the latest subversion version and I do not seem to have this problem. So if you have this problem, please send my information like php version, textpattern version and url adressing scheme.

At the moment the forums are having problems AGAIN, so I’m not able to search for information on this topic.

hu-rray – I’ve located the hu-problem. It only occurs on rc1. So updating to rc3 obviously helps. I have rc3 on production sites and it is indeed reliable.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] vdh_flickr

Larf, you are the man. I did not even get a chance to complain!
0.61 fixed the “hu” stuff.

Sadly another bug popped up. An additional section name is added to the image links. See here My section is called “flickr” and links to images point to “/flickr/flickr/?img…”

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] vdh_flickr

OK, concerning the hu-problem: I put a new version on the server that does not need the workaround. It was a one-line fix, so I did not make a new version. Current version is 0.6.2.

I’m sorry I’m not able to edit or delete my previous post. Sometimes the forum works sometimes not…

God, you’re fast. 0.6.2 works flawless on 1.0RC1 :)

Wow thanks larf for all of this. Also, you can use wilshireone’s A Better TXP Forum Search to do search in the forum.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] vdh_flickr

Question larf: Does the tag have to appear in an article? Can I just stick it in the page? (I tried it and it works, I’m just wondering if there’s a reason why you say to use an article).

Thanks

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] vdh_flickr

I’m using a single instance of the tag on my photos page and the rest all happens automagically, from the main page, to the photoset view, to the individual images.

Just one tag in the page template.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] vdh_flickr

I don’t really know. I’ve just started php programming and digging into textpattern. Good if it works, isn’t it? Just let me know if something doesn’t work, that will encourage me to do something.
