Re: Bookmarklets?

I had something that worked once for links – I lost my bookmarks, and thus the working bookmarklet. Whichever one it was, it worked in Opera and Firefox.

I believe it was the one linked to in a text file, which now is a 404 error.

Re: Bookmarklets?

I have a working bookmarklet. I think I started with some of the code that was posted here, but I can’t remember who to credit. Sorry about that!

http://www.sencer.de/code/txp_bookmarklet.txt

I wrote some further explanations here
http://www.sencer.de/article/112/textpattern-bookmarklet

If anybody is interested in knowing how I made the linkblog by using the Custom-Fields I can give more detailed explanations, but I guess after seeing my blog, and looking at this plugin http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=2188 it might be obvious to some/most of you.

Re: Bookmarklets?

Has anyone got Dean’s link bookmarklet to work yet? I’ve just tried it again, and the information is still not being written to the database. The other bookmarklet solutions seem to be geared towards using the articles section rather than links

Re: Bookmarklets?

ChrisJ’s works for me, opening the link form in a new window.

Re: Bookmarklets?

I find that chris’s bookmarklet opens the main entry page not the links. And it does it in a new window which is blocked by my pop up blocker.
