We should keep an eye on this just in case there’s anything we can do by default to mitigate such issues with non-standard hosting setups.

Presumably adding #Header unset Upgrade to our .htaccess would be enough?

TY.

So, assuming I understand that correctly, it is more an edge case where the server defaults to basic HTTP/1.x instead of HTTP/2 ?

Where is that emoji for a solar powered submarine when you need it ?

Bluntly, I don’t know much more beyond the link I’ve posted, I’m afraid. I moved away from Apache some years ago after getting into knots with its configuration, and I’m rusty on its architecture. I am scratching my head to see how a web server is better with HTTP/1 and HTTP/2 depending on its use case…but then I’m likely missing something. I did briefly wonder if there was a image format support issue with Safari 15 in this case, and the console error is a diversion, but since the .htaccess tweak works (hurrah!) then I could be off base.

Some further reading: github.com/mozilla/hubs/issues/2345 (videos in Safari).
