Thanks for organising that. Just to reiterate, you may have most luck with Chrome or Brave. On Safari my webcam is “not of the required resolution”!

Hi
I installed the jitsi app on my phone because my desktop computer havent a webcam, i entered the textpattern room, it seems to work even if i am alone.
Cheers.
PS: Do you think it could be more secure to add a password to the jitsi room ?

I too would like to try Jitsi. Honestly, I think its good to look into the security of the platform even if we arent discussing anything exceptionally sensitive or pertinent. People using Zoom for basic stuff already had to deal with the zoom bombing which has secondary consequences depending on if you are restreaming your Zoom elsewhere. I dont doubt Jitsi could have such issues too (but maybe they will actually fix them)

Jitsi meet is open source and I’m sure that it was audited by many. Although I agree with you about zoom, skype, etc, I’m yet to see anything in the news regarding security flaws of the particular app for a couple of years.
