Let’s see if I can explain it this way wilshire. You must know the expression Doh! and where it comes from? So sticking with the same character if you think of Mmmm, candy then that is similar to sorted. OK? :grin:

An idea for a menu entry. For pages, forms, and (Recent) articles, include as the very first, (or maybe the very last) item a NEW PAGE/FORM/ARTICLE etc. Just a thought.

Great idea Remillard. I was thinking about doing something like that on the Recent Articles menu for those times when I go to edit something only to find that its too old to show on that list.
I’ve added menu options for View All and Add New on the Recent Articles menu, Add New on the Styles menu, View All on the Pages menu and Add New on the Forms menu.
Unless I’m missing something the only way to add a new page is by copying an already existing page.

One point I’ve spotted. In the previous version the “Quick Pik” menu seemed to automatically pick up ALL the tabs. As I’ve installed Manfre’s “file upload” hack I found this handy as it included the new “file” tab. This new version doesn’t do this anymore. Now I’ve been able to hack your hack to include it again. Go team me! But I’m thinking this could end up being a bit of a chore if someone has several “non-standard” tabs. I’m aware of at least 2 already, Manfre’s being one and compooter’s “notes” tab being another. Any reason why you changed the method here?

The method was changed so that I could include the top level tab names and links in the quikpik menu which wasn’t there in the first version.
I haven’t setup either of the other mods you mentioned but I’ll take a look at them to see if there’s a way around having to hack the hack.
