Re: QuikPik Menu 2.0
If you’re currently using the QuikPik 2.0 menu I would recommend updating to the newest version posted on my site.
The initial release of this will display the recent articles, styles, pages and forms menus even if you are not logged in. Nothing can be edited of course but you might want to keep this information private.

Are you seriously telling me you don’t know sorted on that side of the pond?

Its not necessarily this side of the pond. Might just be me. I’m not so bright.

Re: QuikPik Menu 2.0
This is very cool. I would suggest one ‘feature’ though. Sometimes TXP displays a little status line on the very first line (Page default saved, Article saved as Pending, etc.) I think these are getting blocked. Is there any way to have them still show up in the header?

Re: QuikPik Menu 2.0
Another unintentional miss. Quick fix:
Change line 177 from:
<code>
<?php echo $siteurl.substr($path_from_root, 0, -1); ?>
</code>
To:
<code>
<?php echo $message.’ :: ‘.$siteurl.substr($path_from_root, 0, -1); ?>
</code>
I’ll update the download accordingly.

Re: QuikPik Menu 2.0
Let’s see if I can explain it this way wilshire. You must know the expression Doh! and where it comes from? So sticking with the same character if you think of Mmmm, candy then that is similar to sorted. OK? :grin:

Re: QuikPik Menu 2.0
An idea for a menu entry. For pages, forms, and (Recent) articles, include as the very first, (or maybe the very last) item a NEW PAGE/FORM/ARTICLE etc. Just a thought.

Re: QuikPik Menu 2.0
Great idea Remillard. I was thinking about doing something like that on the Recent Articles menu for those times when I go to edit something only to find that its too old to show on that list.
I’ve added menu options for View All and Add New on the Recent Articles menu, Add New on the Styles menu, View All on the Pages menu and Add New on the Forms menu.
Unless I’m missing something the only way to add a new page is by copying an already existing page.
