Personally, I like simple. Though I’m often lousy at doing it! :P
- If this was an configuration error for one account one host, and
- if a quick check shows that the necessary permissions are enabled by default on all the hosts checked
I wouldn’t add anything in the read me. Keep it simple. Reduce the noise to essential information for a normal install experience and point to the system requirements for those who run into problems.

Noted. If we think that INDEX is pretty standard, then we can easily revert it.
